Cunard has unveiled its 2027 entertainment programme, featuring the return of four popular Event Voyages aboard Queen Mary 2 alongside a new collection of exclusive Entertainment Residencies across the fleet.

Developed in partnership with leading cultural organisations, the programme offers guests the opportunity to enjoy world-class theatre, ballet, classical music and literature at sea, with performances, workshops and talks from acclaimed artists and experts.

Four Signature Event Voyages Return

Leading the line-up is the return of Cunard’s celebrated Event Voyages, which combine immersive entertainment with the luxury of a Transatlantic Crossing aboard Queen Mary 2.

Theatre at Sea with the Olivier Awards returns from 20-27 October 2027, celebrating the best of British theatre through exclusive performances, workshops and behind-the-scenes insights. The voyage follows Cunard’s continued partnership with the prestigious Olivier Awards.

Dance the Atlantic, in collaboration with English National Ballet, will take place from 16-23 July 2027. Guests can enjoy performances from internationally acclaimed dancers, as well as talks and workshops offering a unique insight into the world of ballet.

Classical music fans can once again join Anthony Inglis and the National Symphony Orchestra from 1-8 October 2027. Now in its 18th year, the voyage will feature live performances, guest talks and the opportunity for guests to take part in the popular onboard choir.

Rounding out the programme is Literature Festival at Sea, running from 2-9 December 2027. Curated by the team behind The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival, the sailing will bring together leading authors, journalists and commentators for a week of literary discussion and debate.

New Entertainment Residencies Across the Fleet

Alongside its Event Voyages, Cunard will introduce a new programme of Entertainment Residencies aboard Queen Mary 2, Queen Anne, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria.

The residencies will feature award-winning theatre companies and acclaimed performers presenting a variety of productions, from literary adaptations and historical dramas to intimate one-person shows. Guests will also have opportunities to attend workshops, storytelling sessions and recitals.

Highlights include The Truman Capote Talk Show, an acclaimed portrayal of the celebrated writer, The Essence of Audrey, inspired by the life of Audrey Hepburn, and Frozen Love: A Buckingham Nicks Story, which explores the early relationship between Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.

Additional productions include An Afternoon Stroll with Hilaire Belloc and A Ghost Among the Living, reflecting Cunard’s continued commitment to offering enriching cultural experiences at sea.
