The new ship is still bedding in, at the moment it cannot cope with 3000 guests.

The condition is of the ship is obviously good.

Interior cabin small, the king size and bed takes up three quarters of the cabin, two wardrobes just over a foot wide no where near enough space for two weeks.

The lighting is peculiar with only one side lit.

The shower is very good with instant hot water.

The corridors are getting longer and narrower as passengers are getting larger, with cabin staff trollies in position mass escape wouldn’t be be chaotic.

Food venues – do not like the serveries, different ingredients for a meal can be far apart in the Buffet regular queuing.

Seating is good but peak times are chaotic getting a cup of tea at the table can take ages whether busy or not.

Fresh drinking glasses regularly very hot straight from washer need cooling with ice before use.

Managers continually failed to spot problems.

Dining room deck three not good at all! Too cramped and noisy, waiters scurrying around trying to get to distant kitchen.

Choice reasonable but portions for each course very small and invariably lukewarm which will always be the case.

Sundecks very cramped with cheap sunbeds causes problems as the sun moves round.

As usual best spots disappear by 8am.

Why do we all have to put up with amplified music every afternoon it ruins my day as l have hearing aids?

Public rooms good but apt to fill up quickly at certain times, some good quiet rooms which initially take some finding.

Crew – saw very few around the ship except at one reception, with Captain in attendance

Pity she feels unable to speak off the cuff surely she has the confidence- just one of my dislikes on a ship.

In conclusion QA is no QM regular Cunarders ( l am not one of them) will hate it, a clear case for consulting your clients before making big decisions.
