A new ship , larger than Queen Victoria and Elizabeth, but the infrastructure could not cope with the addition of 1000 extra passengers.
As examples the theatre seated 850 but with 3000 passengers there was insufficient room for lectures.
The restaurants and buffet were both overwhelmed by numbers and seating was compacted and in serried rows like a cafeteria with little character and grandeur boasted by Cunard
There were improvements to bathrooms although staterooms were smaller with limited hanging space.
There were more bars on board and extra eating venues at extra cost.
Sadly I was disappointed and felt that Cunard had tried to maximise profits over passenger pleasure
