First cruise since 2019, but as frequent Cunarders we were keen to see if there were any changes Generally things are as per usual, but there have been changed that are not necessarily for the better.
Biggest changes we found were with times of many normal activities.
Evening schedule was not as good.
Second dining was now 8.15.
OK only 15 minutes earlier than before, but the second show in the theatre was thirty minutes earlier, which made it necessary to omit dessert and coffee.
We often used the Lido buffet in the evening as it fitted with evening activities.
Before, you could get tea etc up to 6 o’clock in the Lido, but now it is virtually closed for food between 4.30 and 6.
Not good if you have been out, and do not dine until 8.15.
Small things but quite a change.
The shore excursions were good.
Staff excellent, nothing too much trouble.
Entertainment, really a question of taste, but musical groups very good, something from jazz to classical.
Taking into account many changes, still a good cruise.
