The weather was poorer than we had hoped but the sea was mostly calm.

My husband’s shore experience “trek from Cadiz to Cape Trafalgar” was cancelled at the last minute and the refund was less than I had paid.

This is unacceptable even if it may have been due to the exchange rate for the US dollar.

With the exception of the art class run by Graham Thew the entertainment was of variable quality and not what I would expect from Cunard.

Neither I nor my husband will ever be cruising again.

The ship was shabby, the staff even in the princess grill were in need of training, the Wifi was outrageously expensive and we had a number of cancelled bookings.

All this is on a background of Cunard cancelling our cruise round New Zealand at half an hour’s notice a year ago.

[That was not a Bolsover holiday, however.] We were not made to feel special as it said in the advertisements for the cruise.

We spent a great deal of money on a very mediocre holiday.

Never again.
