Princess Cruises offers two upgraded fare packages designed to give guests more included within the price of their holiday: Princess Plus and Princess Premier.

While both packages include popular extras such as drinks, Wi-Fi and crew appreciation, there are some important differences between them. For many guests, choosing the right package can help simplify onboard spending and add more value to their cruise.

Here’s a closer look at what’s included in Princess Plus and Princess Premier, and how the two packages compare.

What Is Princess Plus?

Princess Plus is Princess Cruises’ package designed for guests who want the essentials included before they sail.

The package includes:

  • A drinks package with up to 15 drinks per day (up to $15 per drink)
  • Unlimited speciality coffees and teas
  • Up to 12 bottles of bottled water per day
  • Wi-Fi for one device per guest
  • Crew appreciation (gratuities)
  • Four casual dining meals per guest
  • OceanNow delivery and room service delivery included

Princess Plus is often popular with guests who enjoy a few drinks each day, want internet access during their cruise and prefer to pay for key extras upfront.

Pricing starts from around £50 per guest per day, or £55 on Sun Princess and Star Princess.

What Is Princess Premier?

Princess Premier is the cruise line’s more comprehensive package and includes a wider range of premium extras.

Alongside everything included in Princess Plus, Princess Premier also offers:

  • Unlimited drinks per day (up to $20 per drink)
  • Unlimited casual dining
  • Unlimited speciality dining meals
  • Wi-Fi for up to four devices per guest
  • Shore excursion credit of up to $300 per guest depending on cruise length
  • Unlimited digital professional photos plus three prints
  • Reserved theatre seating for production shows

Princess Premier is designed for guests who want the most inclusive Princess Cruises experience possible, particularly those planning to use speciality dining, premium beverages and shore excursions throughout their holiday.

Pricing starts from around £75 per guest per day, or £80 on Sun Princess and Star Princess.

Are Princess Plus and Premier Worth It?

Whether Princess Plus or Princess Premier is worth it depends on how you like to cruise.

Guests who regularly purchase drinks, Wi-Fi and speciality coffees often find Princess Plus quickly pays for itself compared to paying individually on board.

Princess Premier is usually best suited to guests who also enjoy speciality dining, multiple connected devices, shore excursions and premium experiences throughout their cruise.

Both packages are designed to make budgeting easier by including many of the most common onboard extras in advance.

Which Princess Cruises Ships Offer Plus and Premier?

Princess Plus and Princess Premier are available across the Princess Cruises fleet. The pricing structure may vary slightly on newer ships, but the overall package inclusions remain similar across the fleet.
