Really enjoyed my cruise, despite less than flat seas! The food was good, service wonderful and the free wine and spirits gave a very relaxed air.
What I would love to find on the SOD would be some comfy chairs.
I tried the library, the living room, the Britannia lounge, even on deck.
The majority of the seats are too long in the leg (I admit I’m not that tall, but when you get over 60 you do shrink) and short in the back.
There were no chairs where the lumber support was good and where you could snuggle down for a read when at sea.
I truly think Saga need to rethink the chairs.
The boutique feel can be maintained with comfy chairs and without it looking like an old folks home.
