We were on this ship two years ago and had a great time. However, the introduction of all inclusive drinks has meant you apse many passengers treating it as a booze cruise!Men were also allowed in the main restaurant in shorts, with no attempt to stop them and two men went into the Windjammer bar in bare chests! Again, no one said anything.

This is not what you expect from a four-star cruise ship.

Very few people dressed for the formal nights and it was clear to see that most passengers preferred their evening meals in the Windjammer buffet restaurants the main restaurant was full of empty tables.

The service was still very good and the food delicious.

Staff overall were very friendly and efficient.

We were lucky enough to have a suite and use the Concierge Club.

This is a great place to unwind before or after your evening meal.

However this time we were disappointed with the concierge who clearly as on “auto-pilot” as she welcomed everyone with the same “Hello, welcome find a seat” with a fixed smile.

The captains reception consisted of a small glass of punch followed by a canape of rolled beef round an asparagus tip on a dry bit of toast followed by a strawberry dipped in chocolate!! Wow! Royal Caribbean certainly pushed the boat out for its most loyal passengers!! I think I would think twice about returning to this cruise line if I am going to be surrounded by loud mouthed drunks who don’t appreciate the etiquette of 4 star cruising but then I really blame Royal Caribbean.

They know they can get the customers in by allowing all-inclusive packages and they are running a business.

I think I will stick with P&O and pray they don’t go all inclusive too!
