Unfortunately my daughter and her husband really struggled with the size of the cabin.
My daughter has a problem with ‘closeness’ and this cabin caused her anxiety problems.
Their cabin was no bigger than the one my husband and I shared, yet the cost was almost double.
There was insufficient storage for clothes or suitcases.
Getting out of bed in the night to use the bathroom was another challenge given there were two sets of ladders to manoeuvre without stubbing your toes.
Children of 4 don’t particularly like shower and trying to shower a child in such a confined space posed another problem.
I would like to say that on this occasion I feel Bolsover let me down, as I expressed my concerns when booking and I also rang you again with my concerns but was reassured everything would be okay the cabin would be spacious enough.
I have since found out that they do have connecting cabins for families and larger family cabins which would have been more suitable.
Why could we not have booked 2 cabins with an adult and a child in each cabin next door to each other? It is a great pity this spoilt the family holiday of a lifetime.
They have said they certainly would not rush back to do another cruise.
