Very disappointed.
We had three missed port calls Invergorden replaced the Pharos port was interesting trip a bit boring.
Edinburgh replaced the Shetlands long tender to Newhaven nothing there really and trips to Edinburgh expensive! Had to miss Holyhead for bad weather unable to tender and no replacement port offered.
Service was not their usual standard although the crew worked very hard.
The My Holiday App was unreliable and they had not provided any relevant info eg it took us three days to find out that you couldn’t book for the restaurant until 15minutes before it opened.
Had to use trial and error if the app didn’t work! The library was well stocked with books but most were in locked cupboards and we only saw the human librarian once! The dance teachers were very good, but the dances in the evening were very late (9.45-11.30) and the gala dances were just a dance to computer music no band, and the other dances were in an out of the way room which was I felt more like a store room and could have been more attractive with a little rearrangement.
There was no itemised bill.
Drinks were paid for with your cruise card, no idea how much they cost unless in the crows nest.
They just took your card and then gave it back, no receipt and when we asked at reception for an itemised bill they couldn’t give us one.
The food in the restaurant was good but often unexciting and the food in the buffet was no where near as good as on previous cruises.
I must repeat that the crew were polite even though they worked very hard especially in the restaurant.
Orkney trip was awesome the tour guide was an archaeologist and very good at inspiring your wish for more knowledge about people from the past.
The Lewis and Harris trip was very good informative with beautiful scenery.
