Arrived at Southampton docks on time and parking the car and boarding Iona was efficient and quite quick given the numbers of people.
Our room 16.238 was clean and ready and we went to explore the ship.
The ship is huge and not easy to find our way around.
the weather was kind and the north sea kind on on our way to Norway which was wet and cold when we arrived Unfortunately I was taken ill with Covid at this point and told to isolate in my cabin until the end of the voyage, my wife was given the option to move to another room but decided to stay with me which was good as she also had covid.
We stayed this way and was escorted off the ship 5 days later.
Room service was hit and miss but the food was good but cool on most of the hot dishes.
We received a letter saying we would receive a FCC, but we have had no notice since the end of the cruise.
We were really sorry to miss going ashore and seeing the entertainment onboard.
