We were hoping that the post refit cruise may solve some of the problems Azura has had over the last couple of years, mainly the smell of effluent/sewage in certain public spaces, it is far from appetising while waiting around Sindhu, but was also evident in lots of other areas.

P and O’s reduction in staffing has become more and more evident in our last two post Covid cruises, one example the lack of tables for two at breakfast and when after a 20 minute wait we were escorted to a table we saw over 10 two seaters left uncleared, these were left uncleared for the time we ate our breakfast.

Waiter service for drinks was also poor, due to numbers, not the ability of the few trying to cope.

the first sailaway on the 28th March was low attendance compared to others we have done on the last 8 cruises with P and O and with the bar/waiters being unable to serve and clear tables for such a low service it could possibly be dangerous with more guests.

We have decided to look at other cruise lines now, P and O seem to want to push a drinks package to everyone, but not provide the staff to maintain it.
