Easy get on.Good food in MDRs.Officers and other crew were very friendly and helpful.Lovely ship, but overall, no better than P & O.Entertainment was average, drinks were very expensive,as were speciality dining options.
We were very disappointed that we couldn’t go to The Cayman Islands due to the bad weather and instead of visiting an alternative port,we had extra days at sea on our way back to Galveston for disembarkation. It was then decided to sail into Galveston the evening before, which meant that we were unable to use drinks packages when within 9 miles of shore. We were not aware that we had been given $25 against this cost until we returned to our cabin late that night.
This was the first time we had done a three week cruise and on reflection, maybe too many sea days under the circumstances. We wouldn’t be in any rush to consider going on another Princess cruise.
