Trip on the Iona was enjoyable.
Staff too low in number for a fully loaded ship of 6000+ guests but all working so hard, polite and very helpful.
Food in buffet a little disappointing – no real kids food in the buffet apart from earlier eating.
I feel it should be out all hours of opening.
My daughter and son are both autistic and very bland.
plain eaters – little choice in the buffet and also on the kids meals for them – the waiters in the restaurants were very helpful letting my 18year old son eat from the kids meals (he lived on burgers all week) and ensuring my daughter was able to have rice (if on the main menu) – need more bland/beige options as well as the flavoured/spice.
Also disappointed with drinks for children around the ship – my daughter is very sensory to textures/sensations so fizzy drinks are out – she only had water until we bought some squash on one of the shore visits.
Apple juice is great but not hydrating.
The provision of squash on a boat would be great!
