The itinerary was excellent, loved every destination.

The ship was excellent, easy to navigate and the cabin also very nice.

The crew very friendly and the service first class.

The entertainment the best I have seen at sea by a long way.

So why only 4 stars? We had 4 restaurants that we could go too, and you could have the cuisine of the country they represented and standard dishes the same in them all.

every day 2 dishes changed, here lies the problem.

Not enough variation and many dishes lacked imagination.

It was our first time on Celebrity and they were advertising “Michelin Food” sorry to say it was disappointing.

The specialist restaurants were also pricey, we used our OBC to visit Eden where the food was excellent but cost $80 plus 20% service charge!! if you wanted the tasting menu with wines that was another $170 on top.

The internet even worse on the basic package (worst I have had at sea), even the app did not work well some days, and to upgrade $370 which I thought was very expensive.

Its clear the ship is all about making money if you have not pre paid then everything has a cost.

We booked the basic drinks package which was ok up to $20 a drink.

The beer choice was poor as was the Gin choice, wine was ok.

would I use Celebrity again? Depends on the itinerary and I would probably upgrade to The Retreat.
