Disappointed, the food served in the main dining room was never very hot, the waiter service slow, on a table for six or eight people there was never enough butter,jam and marmalade, if more than two people had cereal not enough milk, tea and coffee varied from barely warm to nearly hot which with only half filled was topped up by the waiter with milk, why are we not capable of putting our own milk in.
The evening meal was just with family, five adults and a nine month old baby so a high chair needed, once again food served not very hot, extra chips were ordered but they were Luke warm if you were lucky as they weren’t under the plastic domes which was supposed to keep the food hot.
We decided to go to he Epicurean restaurant so asked to see the menu for the night we wanted to book, checked it so booked a table for five, when were were seated and given the menu it wasn’t the one we were shown so I ended up with boring soup, lukewarm, steak with extra chips to compensate for the small portion with the steak neither of which was hot and ice cream all for an extra £35 each.
