We have cruised with P&O for many years and have shared our love of them with friends who decided join us on the Arvia Caribbean Cruise 8th November, 2 weeks.

It was a 60th birthday celebration also whilst there.

Arrival into airport Barbados to raining but that is no issue was warm lol, coach trip to shop was good but was sat in coach for 45 minutes outside terminal for god knows why… rain! Nothing special there to welcome us no smiling faces, no steel band, nothing to make arrival special, herded through like cattle, onto ship and no cool water available for us like had always been in the past shoreside , seems like all the special touches are now a thing of the past! Found room

Ok so changed and went to explore, it’s a beautiful ship inside and out no issues with it at all, our luggage did not arrive with us until nearly 24hrs later which was terrible as everything was in them! We couldn’t see Barbados on second day as no further clothes, sun creams etc terrible experience, we all received credit for the luggage delay but it still wasn’t acceptable.

All trips were too expensive, bar drinks service is terrible, waited long time for service I’m ALL BARS! main dining food quality is poor, limited choices, teeny tiny portions, cheese biscuits is a joke, honestly P&O have lost the plot , cut backs on food choices, buffet dining repetitive, super busy, over heated foods, no coffee cups, dirty cups, cutlery, staff in all areas looked miserable, really really poor.

We saw the same shows 19 months ago on lady cruise that’s terrible! Tui cruises blow P&O out of the water as been on a few of those recently far far better!

I really feel dissatisfied with the service by all

Staff, think it is understaffed throughout (waited 45 mins for Ice cream in sky dome, one member of staff on!

I feel bad for my friends who came for their 2nd cruise on our recommendation which was a costly treat for the special birthday, feel I let them down,

Certainly won’t be rushing back to P&O which saddens me but service, special touches, quality, etc are no longer there and it just feels like an all inclusive holiday with nothing ( which is cheaper by a long shot)

Rant over but needed saying £6k for this holiday and got nothing more than a Butlins!
