Having sailed with P and O 18 times, and in total 30 cruises.
We were looking forward to the Ventura, it was the 1st ship we ever sailed on with P and O
It took us 12 hrs to get there have to travel from Spain, 83 and 80 years of age.
What a disappointing 5 weeks cruise.
Cabin not very clean, clothes were dusty, ship supposed to have had new carpets,, not sticking to surfaces correctly
all fibres coming off.
The food left a lot to be desired.
In the buffet at lunchtime, everything had garlic on, even the roast patatoes.
The Tours desk, well there will be hundreds of complaints
We booked 2 tours when it advised moderate???
The first one, the butterfly sanctuary had about 30/40 winding steps
was informed my husband with a walker could do it??ç
The second one monkeys tree roots all along the path.
Was informed by the Manager, I should have googled and researched it.
You go off the P andO WEbsite.
The Space centre, 17 buses, I was informed, no escort as advised.
Waited 1 hr,1 mile long on the heat, many disabled people, with no help from the tours desk, who were doing their thing.
Dreadful customer service, from that dept. Always on the defensive and advising we should not have booked it.
Asked for a refund for the Space Centre, not even acknowledged
Always P and O fans but like nearly everyone you spoke to NEVER EVER AGAIN.
