We really enjoyed the itinerary.
We did not know what to expect from the ports, but none of them failed to impress.
It was our first Canaries cruise.
The food in the main dining room exceeded our expectations, the lunches being a pleasant surprise.
Celebration Night/Black Tie menus were really top notch.
The staff were really attentive, and seemed to be everywhere.
The ship, on first impression, had a homeliness about it, which was quite relaxing.
We were on board during one of the Norovirus episodes, so the staff were running around doing a lot of touch surface cleaning.
The Glass House wasn’t serving food, and the buffet was somewhat lacking.
The Epicurean was OK, but not upto the standard I had expected.
Both Sindhu & the Beach House were OK.
The cabin was decent enough, but tired and needed a good clean & vacuum.
There was black mould in the showering area on the walls, but this was partially removed during the cruise.
There was thick dust on the stairs, and a footprint I left in it on day two was there on the night before we left.
The buffet seemed to be ruined by the Beach House cooking area.
I have seen this area used for buffet service in other ships of the same build, with live cooking stations.
The buffet itself was used to serve the same food in four sections, two of them closed some/half of the time.
With a selection of around 7-8 mains I have seen better cafeterias.
I was disappointed with the ship.
Unsure whether it was due to the constant Norovirus cleaning, or just that it seemed locked in the past.
I wouldn’t go on that ship again
