This was the second time we have cruised on Britannia and we loved it, apart from me contracting COVID.
Staff was excellent and Heston our cabin steward went above and beyond .
Our cabin was pristine.
Loved the food and did several speciality restaurants including afternoon tea in the epicurean which was fabulous.
However this time I didn’t enjoy the Sindhu.
The service was really really slow and the restaurant was quite cold, in fact it was uncomfortable.
The scenery of the fjords was breathtaking and the captain was really informative, in fact much better than our last cruise.
There was a medical emergency in which the guest had to be winched off ship and what I did like was how the captain publicly thanked all the crew involved.
That got my respect.
We could not stay on one of the fjords due to high winds in which the harbour master made the decision it was not safe , so we sailed different fjords which was equally as stunning.
However there was some moaners which got my heckles up because it wouldn’t have been a decision made lightly and no way would they put anybody or the ship
In danger and I’m thankful for that.
Next cruise is March on Britannia and cannot wait!
