Ventura

Ventura’s first voyage since lockdown.

Ship was in great shape with new or cleaned furniture and carpets.

There was an ‘army ‘ of cleaners keeping everywhere clean and sterile.

Plenty of hand gel stations everywhere.

Small delay on embarkation due to covid test technical issues, other than that easy and quick embarkation and debarkation at all ports and last day.

We found live music acts not up to scratch, Pulse band were good at Havana, others lack luster and little daytime entertainment.

They are using new ordering tablets in the bars and restaurants, which the waiters and customers found slow and frustrating.

I’m sure it will improve with time.

Food was hit and miss.

Saffron main dining had some issues with luke warm soup and very tough beef.

Chefs should check before it goes out.

Buffet was good, as was the extra dining in Beach House and Glass House.

Sindu indian was poor on the night, long waits and over cooked dry food.

All in all we were over the moon to be back cruising, staff very attentive and polite, P&O had worked hard to get the ship ready.

Only 2/3 capacity so that helped.
