A great cruise around West Indies and up to a new destination of Grand Turk (Turks & Caicos), the added bonus of flying directly into, and out of, Barbados Once again wonderful system operating with luggage, where after check in at local airport, cases are next seen in your cabin, likewise on return, after putting them out the night before departure, you collect them on arrival back in UK.
No hassle with identifying, collecting, transferring to transport, etc.
great system.
Down side with Thomson Air is that their cabin luggage allowance is only one item and MUCH smaller than regular allowance.
Ventura is a lovely ship, standard of food is high, but choices in buffet at lunch times tended to be very repetitive.
Several acts are located in the Havana club, but we feel this is not a particularly suitable venue as it is often very difficult to see the small stage area, despite the tv screens.
No problems in ports when leaving for tours, everyone meeting up on shore, a very good system.
Very much like the monetary system on board operating in pounds sterling, and that there are no additional taxes added to drinks.
Will definitely book with P&O again.
