Tried our first two day cruise, done a few cruises with P&O but not a two night one before.The Cruise was for a special birthday celebration .
We had read of them being known as booze cruises so went with an open mind.
We self parked but it was all very well organised.
Our bags were taken from us and we were soon on board.
Ventura is our favourite ship so it was good to be back on board.
We were on c deck in an inside cabin our steward Sedrick introduced himself and kept our cabin spotless.
We had a meal in Sindu on our first night on board , we tried it last year and the food and service is excellent.
We docked in Geurnsey on the Saturday we had a few hours looking round before it began to rain so we we went back to the tender, we felt sorry for those just getting off the tender as it was quite wet by that time! Entertainment was ok we saw the new headliners show and that was very good.
The following night our last night on board , we didn’t really enjoy the entertainment in the theatre but that’s just personal taste.
We spent the rest of the evening sat in the atrium enjoying a cocktail and just enjoying people watching.
We enjoyed the cruise very much the service , food etc was excellent.
There were a few hen do’s on board but mostly families or couples.
It is a different atmosphere to a longer cruise but we really enjoyed it .
