Would never do a Christmas cruise again.
Embarkation was delayed for 2 hours because the ship needed a ‘deep clean’ because of an ongoing problem with the spread of Norovirus, something we didn’t know about before receiving an email from P&O the day before!! We should have been informed of this.
Apparently there are a few hundred people who have been affected who are suing P&O for compensation! Day 2 of the cruise I went down with Norovirus and was confined to my cabin for 4 days.
I finally started to get by appetite back about 3 days before the end of the cruise.The food and entainment was very average.
The ship was far too busy for our liking which meant it was difficult to find a seat.
Sadly P&O has become a 3* line and we won’t be travelling with them again
