We went on this short cruise to check out the new ship Britannia, as we are going on her in December for the Christmas and New Year Cruise.
Think I fell in love with this ship as soon as I boarded.
Although she is the biggest of the fleet, it doesn’t feel like this inside.
She is different to the others in terms of decor, more modern which I have read some people are not too happy about, but I think its refreshing to see these changes.
The Horizon (buffet dining) is huge and clean and plenty of room even at the busiest times, they serve tea and coffee at the table as well as being able to get your own so never a queue at the tea/coffee vending.
The food was always hot and delicious.
Study the map of the ship when you board as the lifts in the centre of the ship only go so far , so there could be times when you are coming out of the lift and having to either go up a floor or down.
We didn’t mind as we like to explore the ship.
I love love love the Atrium area its stunning !! As with all P&O ships we found the service brilliant and they couldnt do enough for us.
Very much looking forward to going back on her at Christmas and do some more exploring !!
