I am afraid our holiday on Azura was rather disappointing. The ship seemed to lack character. Some of the crew just seemed to go through the motions. Our particular cabin steward and waiters, were very good. The worst thing was the food in the Oriental Restaurant.Out of the 14 days we ate there,I would say 4/5 meals were good, sadly the rest were poor to mediocre. The biggest problem, was overcooking.Well done steak, greyish lamb.People on freedom dining were telling us how well cooked there food was!The concencuss among Oriental diners, was the best chefs were in freedom dining and we got the leftovers.

We chose to eat at the 8.30 sitting, which unbeknown to us ,meant you could never get a seat in any of the show bars, when we finished at 10 pm.

I could go on with several other issues, but just to say, compared to other ships we have been on ,the Azura was a big dissapointment. If you choose this ship, insist on freedom dining! Our friends had a top Balcony cabin, which was dirty,no complimentary water, empty fridge, three days to replace tissues. And to cap it all,a flooded bathroom on their last night. They never even got an apology!
