Be aware that P&O cruises are now heavily discounting cruise cabins nearer the departure date and after people have paid their balance.
We are due on Aurora in January which we booked some time ago.
Having looked on the P&O website they are now advertising an equivalent cabin to ours for £2200 less!! than we paid.
This is some discount! It seems gone are the days when P&O promise that you get the best deals when booking early and not to heavily discount at a later date.
We requested, through Bolsover, some form of recompense but they came up with a slightly larger cabin and £500 extra onboard spend.
This is far from satisfactory as the extra onboard spend just goes straight back to the ship and well short of the £2200 difference.
This is the last time we book early and probably not with P&O after over 17years.
