We still managed to have a good time.
We used the Horizon on the evening of our arrival .It was like a bun fight ,the food was cold and tasteless. We did use the Horizon a few times when returning from shore and it had improved.
I have been on the Iona twice and certainly prefer that ship.It has a different atmosphere and seems calmer .
We visited the Beach house but there was no getting away from the fact that you were in the Horizon, similarly with the Chefs table.
Unfortunately the food isn’t as good as it used to be in the restaurants and the choice isn’t as good .In saying that ,with the price of food etc, etc P&O seem to be doing quite a good job for the cruise price.
We had a good time offshore ,met some interesting people and saw a few good shows.
There was a problem with reserving sun beds but the staff didn’try and resolve the problem.
We had made a booking for September on Arvia but I’m afraid we will cancel it after our experience on this holiday.
