The trip wasn’t as expected and a little disappointed .The cabin at first looked fine but then noticed hair in carpets also nail clippings obviously the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. We had booked a deluxe balcony but in my view I would have said it was compact not deluxe . Balcony door windows were dirty also the glass under the hand rail both needed cleaning. I had to remove a large clump of hair from the bath/ shower to allow the water to escape. Numerous times we were given coffee only being lukewarm warm , one night on a table for eight, six people sent their meals back.
The pool are reminded me of a package holiday in the seventies. All sun beds and table and chairs were covered by towels all claimed by guests who hardly used them. In 19 days I never saw the pool attendants either say anything to the guests or even remove in used towels. We had booked four trips one shore days. Three were fine, one was okay and the trip to Casablanca was a sheer waste of time and money.
The good points and they are too many mention were very good. All the public areas were very clean, corridors, restaurants, bars, entertainment areas etc were spotless. Would I go on Arcadia again that’s a big no. Would I use P&O again definitely yes, in fact 2027 we’ve booked for the Venture again and we are in the process of looking for the Britannia in 2028.
