We sailed on msc Euribia from Abu Dhabi around the Emerate in January 25
The ship is absolutely beautiful .
It’s well maintained, spotlessly clean and the cabins are fabulous.BUT the food is the worst food we’ve ever had in 40 cruises over 25yrs
A lot of it is pasta .( nothing against that ) it the rest they serve up .
Shocking
We were looking forward to eating in the main dining area and for the first three nights we did this albeit the choice of food on the menu wasn’t great .
On two evenings we ordered beef / steak ..
this was never edible meat.
If somebody had told us it was horse meat I would have agreed … the amount of fat on it was shocking .
We didn’t send it back because we had waited nearly an hour for it to come after our starter .
From here we dined in the buffet area for the next four evenings ..
once again this wasn’t brilliant .
On a positive note … the entertainment in the main theatre is outstanding … where the food is shocking the entertainment is the best we’ve seen anywhere .
The theatre only seat 650 people.
They offer three shows a night and you have to book your slot which is not an issue .
The first ten minutes every evening is taken up by the two cruise directors welcoming every one in six different languages English Spanish Italian German French and Russian .
What we also found bizarre is the fact every night we went for a drink in the English pub …there was always a table set aside for the offices to enjoy a few drinks and boy did they enjoy a drink … we’ve never seen that before on any other cruise .
Overall would we use MSC again no ..
there’s a lot of positives but there’s too many negative to sway our decision .
