I really loved our cruise on the Holland America ship MS Noordam, the people, the ship, the service and the weather were all superb.
Our cabin was situated at the stern on Veranda Deck 5, a lovely big cabin with lots of space and a good big balcony giving us the choice of sun or shade, also a good sized table for a comfortable breakfast on port days.
The cabin was as big as the suite we had on our cruise earlier in the year.
The wardrobes had masses of coat hangers, in fact we did not use them all! The bathroom had Elemis bath & shower gel, shampoo & conditioner above the bath and body lotion by the wash basin.
all smelling lovely.
The ship had plenty of seating areas, and the loungers on the top deck were wonderfully spaced apart, unlike other ships were there is often very little room to move the chairs around whilst sunbathing.
We opted for a table of 8 in the Vista Restaurant and we had very interesting evenings with our table companions and good food served by attentive waiters.
This particular cruise was recommended to us by Jodi of Bolsover, she felt it would suit us better with the type of people who would be on board leaving Miami in mid November.
Boy, was she right, without exception the passengers were all so polite and courteous with each other, and interesting too.
We had been warned by friends that this would be a ship of old people and walking frames, and whilst there were some walking frames and there were only a handful of children on board, the mix of people were active and on holiday to enjoy themselves and have fun and relaxation, which we certainly did.
Thank You Bolsover .
