This cruise toured from Auckland to Sydney and successfully visited all the planned locations.
The restaurant and stateroom staff were excellent, but the on-board facilities and activities were disappointing, certainly in comparison to our previous Noordam cruise in Alaska; for example, there was no dancing, no director for the daily bridge programme, the entertainments were mediocre, and there were fewer daily activities than on Cunard cruises.
We found ourselves going to bed early as there was little else to do.
There were several other niggling complaints and irritations, such that overall we shall not be cruising with Holland America again.
