From 11 October to the 18th, the Cruise was excellent – Tenerife and Grand Canaria hot and sunny.
The Silhouette very good all round as usual.
We then arrived at Lisbon had a good trip visiting the city then it rained very hard.
Due to sail at 5pm, Captain said the Port was closed due to bad storm conditions.
Overnight stay, late sailing eventually, the Vigo visit was cancelled, very rough seas up the Atlantic coast and over the Bay of Biscay.
Channel calmer , arrived at Southampton 12 hours late.
Full marks to the Captain and Crew for our safe return.
We’ve not ever had a Cruise end in this way.
Great shame and of course it spoiled our experience.
So overall review is half a very enjoyable cruise and half best forgotten.
