Having had a very disappointing cruise on Celebrity Eclipse last October, we had mixed feelings about using the credit, received in compensation, on another Celebrity Cruise.
We are so glad we did, as our recent cruise on Reflection did much to restore our opinion of Celebrity as a line.
Reflection was cleaner, the food better and we were not constantly pestered by the staff, as was the case on Eclipse.
The drinks packages, when bought separately, are extortionate as are the drinks prices generally.
However, they do have another wine list available in the restaraunt that represents good value.
They just don’t promote it! Departing from Southampton does offer certain advantages.
However it is our considered opinion that Celebrity Eclipse has been “tailored” to suit the British market just a bit too much.
Overall.
Reflection was far superior.
