After being on Celebrity 5 times we won’t be going back! Perhaps The Reflection is just not as good as Eclipse and Solstice but the entertainment was very poor, the cruise director totally forgettable and the behaviour of fellow passengers appalling.
Using theCafewas impossible with an elderly disabled mother as it was like a rugby scrum.
Anyone would think no one had had food.
I was knocked over once and trodden on.
In the theatre people were taking babies and very young children in who s reamed and cried throughout.
Families thought it was ok to sit on the disabled seats because they had children! In Istanbul, on an organised excursio we were robbed and not even offered the chance to go back to the ship despite my mother’s distress.
We had the neighbours from hell, noisy and inconsiderate! As usual the staff were fabulous and the food very good in the Opus restaurant.
The lawn grill was terrific.
I realise some of the problems are down to it being the summer holidays but it has never been such an issue before.we won’t be going back on Celebrity and will be looking for a child free ship.
Parents just saw it as an opportunity for 24/7 free childcare.
The kids definitely ruled the wave and several times were even in the adult only solarium and staff daren’t do anything! Celebrity is no longer looking 5 *, people just wore jeans and t shirts to the evening meal as they no longer understand what casual/ smart means.
Very disappointing.
