We can only say how disappointed we were with the overall quality of this 10 day Celebrity Cruise from Barcelona around the western Med.
The cabin with balcony was very well appointed with excellent space for two but would have been very cramped if four people had occupied, as design capability.
The pre included drinks package was good but we were ‘hounded’ on arrival to upgrade the package which we did but struggled in most bars to obtain the better wine which is why we upgraded.
Insufficient waiters resulted in many personal visits to the bar which other cruise companies took exception to but Celebrity staff seemed to welcome this ‘self service’.
However this drinks package was still good value for money.
The main restaurant food menu was very limited and boring.
Had the same starter on five of the ten nights through lack of variety.
Main course very little better.
with sweet course equally boring and repeated.
Did not compare with previous cruise meals which were an event.
these were just endured!!!! Select dining worked reasonably well but it soon became apparent that other passengers were repeatedly given seating priority even though we had pre booked every day.
When challenged staff could not substantiate their actions.
I was particularly very disappointed ( and surprised) that there was no encouragement for pre swimming showering.

The four showers at poolside were not obviously visible and when I asked the poolside bar staff if there were any I was rudely advised that to shower I would need to do so back at my cabin.
When challenged, another staff member pointed out the ones on poolside.
These were crowded in by sunbeds as laid out by pool butler.
Showers are badly located and no encouragement for use with even staff unaware of their existence.
Sun cream needs removal before swimming.
We alas do already have another cruise booked with Celebrity ( N.Z.
and Australia) but based in this cruise we are considering rearranging elsewhere.
