Very quick embarkation in Liverpool, first time we’ve been from there, and we were quickly on the ship having a late lunch.
Can’t fault the food and our waiters in the Buckingham Restaurant were brilliant.
We also visited the Saffron and Lupino’s restaurants and would highly recommend both.
We enjoyed all our ports of call – such a shame we couldn’t get to Tobermory but you can’t do anything about the weather.
The only Ambassador trip we did was in Invergordon which was very good, the guide very informative.
Waiting for a tender one day to get off the ship was a long wait but, for us, it was just the once.
Even though the weather wasn’t great we found we did miss a balcony.
We’ve been on many cruises and our real one thought was that we are used to our cabin being cleaned etc well before noon and most days it wasn’t done before 3pm.
Lack of staff maybe? The staff on board were very good, especially as there was a problem with the ship the first week and the entertainment/show team brilliant.
Would we travel with Ambassador again? I wouldn’t say no.
