I had a wonderful time on Ambassador – it really did have a fantastic ambience (pardon the pun).
There are 3 different restaurants; 2 specialties and 1 main dining room.
I ate in the main dining room most of the time and always found there was something I liked, however I did also eat in Sea & Grass which is great if you like seafood.
I also tried some of the vegetarian options and these were brilliant! I loved the mocktails which are included in the soft drinks package – I personally think these were better quality than the actual cocktails so I would often order one with a shot of a spirit in it instead of a cocktail.
Staff onboard were fantastic and seemed like they really enjoyed working on Ambassador.
I had the opportunity to meet the captain on a couple of occasions who was lovely.
Many of the staff who work onboard have worked together previously on other cruise lines, which adds to the warm and friendly feel onboard.
I thought the evening entertainment was fantastic – all the shows had interesting story lines and the entertainment team were SO talented! Again, they were really friendly when you bumped into them around the ship.
I couldn’t fault Ambassador and I would definitely sail with them again.
