Traveled by coach from local pick up point which was great. The cabin was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Happy with the places visited.
Our only complaint was my booking for the Epicurian restaurant which I booked beforehand for my husband’s birthday. I noticed in the daily activities booklet that it was mandatory to wear black tie on certain nights in all restaurants. As we don’t do the formal nights I checked at reception if there was a dress code on the date I had booked. I was told it was a black tie night and therefore couldn’t go to the restaurant!!! We were so disappointed as it was a treat for his birthday and there was no mention of dress code when I booked it. If I hadn’t checked we would have been turned away.
The next time we cruise we definitely won’t be booking the speciality restaurants.
